PEARL EYE finally got back to winning ways last week after a well-judged ride from Paul Mulrennan. The return of cheekpieces appeared to do the trick and he won with a little more in hand than the official margin suggests. He\'s only been raised 2lb for that success and Lauren Young\'s 5lb claim effectively leaves him 3lb better off. With five places on offer and odds around 15/2, he still makes plenty of each-way appeal.
