Kempton
FEMME FATALE at 5/6, James Tate and Luke Morris, is the one I make it. He has had 2 of his last 4 starts on the wrong trip and ground, back to 16f today where he wins and his mark is 3lb lower for it and won last time out.
MBAPPE at 33/1, Mark Loughnane and Donagh Murphy, gets the vote. He races off a mark 4lb below the 58 it won from in January, is a twice-winner over this course and was staying on at the finish last time.
The risk is KNIGHTMARE, the only confirmed front-runner here — front-runners at this track win 2.2 times their share of these races, and an uncontested lead could be decisive.
The one worry is yard out of form.
LOVELY JUBLY rates higher on our figures but is passed over — won last time off 50 and runs off 55 — up 5lb.
The dangers are KNIGHTMARE at 7/1 (went close off this mark) and WELLWHATSHAPPENIN at 14/1 (well handicapped).
BIRD OF WAR at 7/2, Charles Hills and Kieran Shoemark, just about gets the nod. He ran a big race off much the same mark, beaten 0.75L off 64 on 25 June and comes from a yard in good heart at 25%.
The dangers are PARANJAPE at 10/1 (went close off this mark) and UNIONVILLE at 9/2 (a course winner).
A hard race to weigh up with most of these unexposed, so the yard and the booking count for more than the form book.
NATIONAL HONOUR gets the vote at 5/2 for Charlie Appleby, ridden by Toby Moore. Charlie Appleby is running at 43% over the past fortnight.
The dangers are SOLAR SWING at 9/4 and FARASAN at 7/2.
Hard to be confident with this many unexposed, so the yard and the jockey are doing most of the talking.
PURE MAJESTY gets the vote at 5/1 for William Haggas, ridden by Harry Davies. William Haggas is running at 28% over the past fortnight.
The dangers are GUADALEVIN at 15/8 and GREY TAMAM at 3/1.
Not much to go on here with these largely unexposed, so I am leaning on the yard and who is riding.
ENCORE gets the vote at 15/8 for William Haggas, ridden by Harry Davies. William Haggas is running at 28% over the past fortnight, and the market makes it favourite.
The dangers are FORBIDDEN COLOURS at 5/2 and ASTRONETTE at 7/2.
SAX AVOIDANCE at 4/1, Charlie Pike and Kieren Fox, looks the most likely of these. He won by 3 lengths and escapes a penalty, leaving 4.5lb in hand and comes from a yard in good heart at 20%.
The dangers are VALENTINE BOY at 9/1 (a course winner) and EXTRATERRESTRIAL at 5/1 (went close off this mark).
BARRY THE WORM at 11/1, Edward Smyth-Osbourne with Jack Dace taking off 5lb, is the one I want to be on here. He has had 2 of his last 4 starts on the wrong ground and his mark is 8lb lower for it and has the right side of the draw.
The dangers are HAPPIER at 7/2 (went close off this mark) and KODICALL at 10/3 (won last time).
Sedgefield
PADDY DE POLE at 2/1, Paul Nicholls with Freddie Keighley taking off 5lb, looks the pick of these. He has already won around this track, handles the ground, with 4 wins from 11 on it and gets a trip he has won over.
The main danger is FAIRLAWN SKIPPER at 5/4 (won last time).
BLUE TOPAZ at 33/1, Fergal O'Brien and Jack Hogan, is the one I would side with. He has a course win to his name, handles the ground, with a win from 3 on it and gets a trip he has won over.
YOU BE LUCKY JEAN rates higher on our figures but is passed over — won its last two, and there is no comparable mark in this code to judge the rise.
The dangers are MIGHTY DINK at 10/1 (from a yard in form) and TRALEE GIRL at 8/13 (from a yard in form).
UNCLE AL at 5/1, Jessica Bedi and Paul O'Brien, looks the most likely of these. He knows how to win round here, should be suited by the ground, placed 3 times from 6 on it and has a telling booking — a rider who has won on it before returns.
The dangers are BAHTIYAR at 8/1 (went close off this mark) and CROAGH PATRICK at 10/1 (went close off this mark).
TOM CREEN at 7/1, Sam England with Miss Rebecca Hitchen taking off 7lb, is the one I would side with. He has won here 5 times and was staying on at the finish last time.
The dangers are CLEAN GETAWAY at 8/1 (a course winner) and MAGGIES BOY at 17/2 (a course winner).
LONE STAR at 7/1, Philip Kirby and Joe Williamson, makes most appeal. He comes from a yard in good heart at 25% and is back quickly, ran 5 days ago.
The dangers are BENY NAHAR ROAD at 16/1 (a course winner) and ROADSHOW at 10/1 (a course winner).
CHARACTER TESTING at 7/2, Mark Walford and Jamie Hamilton, is the one that stands out. He has already run to within touching distance off this sort of figure, beaten 0.25L off 92 on 16 January and was not given a hard time of it last time.
The dangers are PEACE MOTIVATOR at 66/1 (back quickly) and TWILIGHT SAFARI at 7/1.
Thirsk
HICKTON at 6/1, Declan Carroll with Cian Horgan taking off 3lb, is the one I make it. He comes from a yard in good heart at 25%, should be suited by the ground, placed twice from 5 on it and gets a trip he has won over.
The dangers are OFF SPIN at 9/2 (staying on last time) and POP THE QUESTION at 33/1.
CLARET AND BLUES at 15/2, Richard & Peter Fahey with Warren Fentiman taking off 3lb, looks the one to be on. He went close off this sort of rating, beaten 2.5L off 61 (2lb higher than today) on 24 July and was staying on at the finish last time.
The risk is MRS MOLE, the only confirmed front-runner here — front-runners at this track win 4.7 times their share of these races, and an uncontested lead could be decisive.
The one worry is wrong side of the draw.
BLADEY LADY rates higher on our figures but is passed over — won last time off 53 and runs off 57 — up 4lb.
The dangers are DISSENTER at 13/2 and CLARET TIME at 7/2 (went close off this mark).
Non-runners: Independent Roze.
Hard to be confident with this many unexposed, so the yard and the jockey are doing most of the talking.
MAJESTIC JUDE gets the vote at 4/6 for William Haggas, ridden by Cieren Fallon. William Haggas is running at 28% over the past fortnight, and the market makes it favourite.
The dangers are DIAMONDSFORYOU at 13/8 and MASTER CELERITAS at 11/1.
FAN MAIL at 5/2, Tim Easterby and David Allan, is the standout, and this is exactly the sort of race to find one. He races off a mark 12lb below the 69 it won from back in October 2025 and is back quickly, ran 5 days ago.
The one worry is wrong side of the draw.
The dangers are MACEDONIAN at 6/1 (well handicapped) and GANTHORPE at 22/1 (well handicapped).
HATAMOTO is the only confirmed front-runner — and this is a track where that matters: front-runners here win 2.4 times their share of these races. An uncontested lead could be decisive.
HATAMOTO at 11/4, Tim Easterby and David Allan, looks the most likely of these. He has already won round this track twice and is back quickly, ran 5 days ago.
The dangers are MO ANAM CHARA at 8/1 (well handicapped) and SOCA STAR at 6/1 (went close off this mark).
VEGA'S VIRTUE at 13/2, Tim Easterby and David Allan, makes most appeal. He went close off this sort of rating, beaten 2L off 64 on 3 August and won last time out.
The dangers are RAVISHING BEAUTY at 14/1 (well handicapped) and ALESSIA FERNANDA at 14/1 (well handicapped).
THE CHILDE OF HALE at 7/2, Ivan Furtado and Tom Eaves, is the bet, and this is the profile the whole thing is built around. He won by 2.5 lengths and escapes a penalty, leaving 5lb in hand, handles the ground, with a win from 4 on it and gets a trip he has won over.
The risk is AVATAR JET, the only confirmed front-runner here — front-runners at this track win 2.4 times their share of these races, and an uncontested lead could be decisive.
The dangers are PRECIOUS SPARTAN at 66/1 (well handicapped) and AVATAR JET at 5/1 (went close off this mark).
Non-runners: Bay Breeze.
Windsor
MARSH BENHAM at 4/1, George Baker and Billy Loughnane, is the bet, and this is the profile the whole thing is built around. He won by 5 lengths and escapes a penalty, leaving 7.5lb in hand and has a course win to his name.
The one worry is run style against this track.
The dangers are MERTOUN at 10/1 (a course winner) and CRAFTY BLUE at 6/1 (went close off this mark).
A hard race to weigh up with most of these unexposed, so the yard and the booking count for more than the form book.
INSTANT FORCE gets the vote at 5/1 for K. R. Burke, ridden by Pierre-Louis Jamin. K. R. Burke is running at 24% over the past fortnight, and it wears headgear for the first time.
The dangers are RED BLUE POINT at 2/1 and DUCHESS OF IMMATIN at 7/2.
Hard to be confident with this many unexposed, so the yard and the jockey are doing most of the talking.
SONG OF THE CLOUDS gets the vote at 11/4 for William Haggas, ridden by Tom Marquand. William Haggas is running at 28% over the past fortnight.
The dangers are WOOTZ at 8/13 and JOURNALISM at 9/2.
Not much to go on here with these largely unexposed, so I am leaning on the yard and who is riding.
CROWN OF CROWNS gets the vote at 5/2 for William Haggas, ridden by Tom Marquand. William Haggas is running at 28% over the past fortnight.
The dangers are QUEEN OF SCOTLAND at 8/11 and SEACOLE at 11/2.
HIERARCHY at 18/1, Jamie Osborne and Saffie Osborne, is the standout, and this is exactly the sort of race to find one. He races off a mark 8lb below the 76 it won from in February and has the right side of the draw.
The one worry is run style against this track.
The dangers are REBEL PATH at 9/2 (a course winner) and DISTANT RUMBLE at 14/1 (a course winner).
KING OF BERKSHIRE is the only confirmed front-runner, though an uncontested lead counts for less here than it does elsewhere.
KING OF BERKSHIRE at 2/1, Andrew Balding and Callum Hutchinson, is the one I keep coming back to. He drops in grade after running 2nd in a Class 3, beaten 3.25L, drops to Class 4, was staying on at the finish last time and has the right side of the draw.
The dangers are ARAVALLI at 11/2 (a course winner) and GREAT BEDWYN at 10/1 (well handicapped).
CRAZY PLAN at 11/4, Dan Horsford and Rossa Ryan, makes most appeal. He went close off this sort of rating, beaten 1L off 51 on 14 July and was staying on at the finish last time.
ARTAVIAN rates higher on our figures but is passed over on the ground — every win (1) has come on soft or heavy — and today is good.
The dangers are ELECTRIC BASS at 9/2 (went close off this mark) and CHURCHILL'S SPIRIT at 25/1 (in first-time headgear).
CAMELEY DAYS at 18/1, Chris Dwyer and Marco Ghiani, is the one that stands out. He won by 3.25 lengths and was raised only 5lb for it, leaving 4.8lb in hand and has already won around this track.
The risk is FAUSTUS, the only confirmed front-runner here — front-runners at this track win 1.9 times their share of these races, and an uncontested lead could be decisive.
The dangers are DAVORGE NATION at 33/1 (went close off this mark) and FAUSTUS at 11/4 (a course winner).

View Tips →Today’s racing tips are posted above from Dan Stanton and Bryan Rogers. Each has put forward their NAP of the day along with any supporting each-way picks they feel strongly about. Click through to any selection to read the full reasoning before you bet.
Tips go up every morning before the first race. Bookmark this page and check back daily.
What to Expect From Today’s Horse Racing Tips
Dan and Bryan post their NAPs independently of each other. That matters because you are getting two separate informed opinions on the day’s racing rather than a single consensus view. On days where both tipsters land on the same race or the same horse from a different angle, that convergence is worth paying attention to.
The each-way picks sit alongside the NAPs and are not afterthoughts. When a horse is recommended each-way it is because the price makes the place return a worthwhile bet in its own right, not because there is not enough confidence for a win bet. Some of the most profitable tips over the recorded history have been each-way selections at double-figure prices that hit the frame.
Today’s Racing
British racing runs every day of the year across turf, jumps and all-weather cards. On the biggest days, Dan and Bryan will cover multiple meetings and post more than two selections. On quieter midweek cards, there may be just the two NAPs. The number of tips posted reflects the quality of the opportunities on that day’s card, not a target to hit.
If today’s card includes a major meeting, a festival race or a significant handicap, there will be a dedicated preview on the relevant race page with deeper analysis beyond the tip itself.
The Track Record
Every tip posted on this site has been recorded since launch. No selections are removed, no losing bets are quietly dropped from the record. The running profit and loss for both Dan and Bryan is published in full on the Tipster Stats page. If you want to know whether the tips are worth following, that is where to look.
