Fou De Toi brings a high-class French background into this maiden hurdle having failed to quite live up to expectations under rules so far, but the switch to a shorter trip on better summer ground after a 90-day break looks like the right conditions for a better showing. Newbrook Diamond holds strong claims on his form to date, though he has a tendency to underperform, while Seven Towers looks a likely improver as the trip increases. Fou De Toi is our selection.
