Flashy Fred stands out as the one horse in this 17-runner field carrying a performance rating, which at least provides a measurable benchmark against opponents who are all unquantified at this level. The extended trip of 18 furlongs at Galway on good ground will be the key examination, and with such a large field of unknown quantities, the race is genuinely hard to call. Flashy Fred is taken on form credentials alone, though the sheer volume of unexposed rivals makes this a speculative selection. **Flashy Fred** is our selection.
