RACING POST VERDICT
Gorthill heads this competitive 18-runner field at Galway on good ground over the extended two and three-quarter miles, rated narrowly ahead of a trio of dangers — Prince Palace, Ira Hayes and Kings Jet — who all sit seven pounds behind on identical figures. The stamina test of 22 furlongs should play to Gorthill's strengths, though the strength in depth of this field means the dangers cannot be dismissed lightly. Prince Palace and Kings Jet in particular are capable of closing that gap on the day. **Gorthill** is the selection.
