Loriko heads this small Sedgefield field narrowly ahead of Skyjack Hijack, and over this stamina-sapping twenty furlongs that slender edge could prove decisive against a rival who will need to find improvement to bridge the gap. Glory And Honour and Ladies Day are not without claims and must be respected in a competitive Class 3 heat, but neither quite matches the top two on current form. Skyjack Hijack represents the most pressing threat, though Loriko's superior rating makes him the one to be on, and he is duly our selection.
