Sierrascope holds a clear advantage on ratings over the only other rated runner in this nine-horse field at Listowel, with Bravemans Call ten pounds inferior on our figures, and the good-to-soft ground over this extended trip of sixteen furlongs should suit a stayer of Sierrascope's profile. The concern is the clutch of unrated runners, any one of whom could outperform expectations on unfamiliar evidence, and Bravemans Call cannot be entirely dismissed if the gap in the ratings overstates the true difference on the day. On the balance of what we know, Sierrascope is our selection.
