Slieve Binnian heads a competitive fourteen-runner field on Dundalk's all-weather mile and a quarter, sitting narrowly ahead of Walhaan and a couple of pounds clear of Flame Of Forest, so the margins at the top of this contest are genuinely tight. Walhaan and Flame Of Forest represent the most pressing dangers, with Nakasero also capable of making his presence felt from just five pounds off the top on a track that can reward patient, staying-on types. The selection's edge is modest and confidence is tempered accordingly, but Slieve Binnian's superior rating gives him a slender but legitimate claim to lead this field home, and he is our pick.
