Getaway Charlie heads this competitive sixteen-runner staying contest at Roscommon on good ground with a rating that places him narrowly ahead of Kellys Corner and meaningfully clear of the remainder, and over a thorough two-and-a-half miles his profile looks well suited to making that advantage count. Kellys Corner and Trackman Tommy are the chief threats and must be respected, while Jurality could outrun his rating if conditions play to his strengths. That said, Getaway Charlie's superiority over this field looks sufficient to see him home, and he is the selection.
