RACING POST VERDICT
I Started A Joke heads our ratings on 134, a pound better than Forty Coats on 133, and that narrow edge is enough to make him our selection in a competitive 20-furlong test on soft ground. He has a clear 12 lb advantage over the next group behind the top two. Forty Coats is the chief danger and is virtually inseparable on figures, while Daydream Nation and Sir Allen, both on 122, would need to improve to get involved. It is a tight call, but I Started A Joke gets the nod.
