Sea Of Doubt is our selection, rated 98 and just four pounds behind the top-rated Annie's Angel, but we prefer her progressive profile and the more solid book of form behind her. In a competitive 16-runner contest over 16 furlongs on good ground, a rising type with consistent form is the safer angle than the top-rated. Annie's Angel is the obvious danger at 102, with Teagarden Jazz on 100 narrowly ahead of our selection, and Tropical Twist on 95 is capable of making the frame if things drop right. This is a tricky puzzle and confidence is low, but Sea Of Doubt is the pick.
