Kaleo Ametsa has a clear edge on our figures, rated 85 and a full nine pounds clear of the next best in a big 21-runner field over a mile and three-quarters on good to soft. That sort of margin gives her room to cope with the scrimmaging and the stamina test of 14 furlongs at the Curragh. The main dangers are Battling Siki and Paradise Lost, both on 76, with Granville Street a pound further back on 75, but none of that trio looks able to close the gap. Kaleo Ametsa is the selection.
