Aequitas is our selection at Catterick, and she rates just a pound behind Talismans Time on our figures, so the gap is slim enough to overturn on the strength of a progressive profile and a clock that backs the form. The race is over twelve furlongs on soft ground, and she looks the one to be improving past rivals who may have plateaued. Talismans Time is the obvious danger as the top-rated runner, while Kasgani is only a pound further back on 85 and Pol Roger, on 82, needs to be respected in a tightly packed Class 4. This looks a competitive contest and confidence is low, but Aequitas is the pick.
