Pyramid Place is the choice at Newcastle, as our figures put him 10 lb clear of Max of Stars, a real margin in a six-runner Class 4 contest over 17 furlongs on good ground. That gap gives him the strongest credentials on the book, and he only needs to run to his level to be hard to peg back. Max of Stars is the chief danger, with North of Richmond (111) and Jentobello (110) also closely grouped and capable of improving enough to make it a tight finish, while Roarin' Success and Hunters Spring look to have more to find. Pyramid Place is the selection, though our confidence is low.
