Eloquencia gets the nod in a tight Newmarket nine-furlong contest, her progressive profile marking her out as the one to be on, and she is rated just a pound behind the top-rated Amused. That narrow gap is easily bridged by a filly still on the upgrade. Amused is the chief danger being a pound better on our figures, while City of God, level with our pick, and Arundel, a pound worse, are also firmly in the mix in a competitive 14-runner field. Eloquencia can get the better of them and is our selection.
