Chally Chute heads our ratings on 117, a clear eight pounds ahead of Absurde on 109, and that gap is the heart of the case on a soft-ground Curragh test over two miles. Absurde and Amelia Earhart (108) are the chief dangers, with Snapretend (105) a little further back but still firmly in the picture in a competitive 11-runner Class 1 field. Confidence is low given how many have similar figures behind, but Chally Chute has the best numbers and the most to like on merit, so he is our selection.
