As regards the newcomers, VARZI looks particularly interesting. Cut A Dash is second pick.
You always have to take note when Karl Burke and Clifford Lee team up, but Varzi could be a little short at 11/10. Spectacular Diver ran well on debut and is the only runner with experience in the race, but I’m going to side with CUT A DASH for the Hannon and Leavy combination. The pedigree looks strong and Richard Hannon’s juveniles around this time of year are always worth following.
