Andrew Balding\’s COMIC HERO was desperately unlucky not to win last time out and the handicapper has reacted by putting him up 2lb despite only finishing second. Both he and the winner caught the eye that day, but Newmarket can be a difficult place to dominate from the front. Chester is a completely different test. With a low draw and the sharp nature of the track likely to suit, Edward Greatrex should be able to bounce him out, grab the rail and dictate matters. If he gets an uncontested lead and first run on the field, he could prove very difficult to peg back.
