Path Of Stars got off the mark at this course and distance last time and, as a 5yo, may well have more improvement in her; the 8lb penalty is a fair price to pay for a mare whose profile looks open-ended. Imperial Rule, back over hurdles off a 4lb lower mark, is the chief danger, with Fine As Wine and Masterminding also in contention. Path Of Stars is our selection.
Roi Du Roume stayed on really strongly last week and now switches back to hurdles. He looks to be very well handicapped and gives the impression that a win is just around the corner.
