Sea And Sun showed enough on his sole start at Ripon to demand consideration, but the main interest centres on debutant Camelot Champion — a son of Camelot out of a useful dam, and a full brother to a performer who reached the top flight over 10-12 furlongs. He need not be exceptional to make his mark here against what looks modest opposition, and there is every chance he is considerably better than that. Camelot Champion is the selection.
I don\’t usually like tipping horses making their racecourse debut, but Camelot Champion is impossible to ignore. Charlie Johnston\’s colt is a brother to Luxembourg and, if he has even an ounce of his brother\’s ability, he should prove very hard to beat.
