Apercu arrives at Dundalk on the back of a progressive profile that gives cautious grounds for optimism over this ten-furlong standard surface, and a fitness edge over some rivals nudges the case a little further in that direction, even if the rating gap between our selection and the top-rated Crypto Force is a real consideration. Crypto Force heads the field narrowly ahead on ratings, and Iron Fist and Touch The Moon are closely matched with Apercu at the same level, so this is a competitive heat in a field of fourteen where the margin for error is slim. The vote, on balance, goes to Apercu.
