Racingbreaks Ryder is preferred over the top-rated Exposure despite sitting a pound behind on ratings, because a progressive profile suggests there is more to come from this horse over the Kempton all-weather mile than the bare figures currently reflect. Exposure remains the most obvious danger and will need to be kept at bay, while Elan d’Or and Luzon Heights complete the main threats in what looks a competitive Class 4 affair on a standard-to-slow surface. This is a case where the upside of a horse still finding its feet matters more than the narrow rating gap, though the confidence here is modest. The selection is Racingbreaks Ryder.
