Premier Fantasy holds a narrow edge over Better Off Alone on these figures and has the profile to handle the stamina test of twenty-six furlongs around Newton Abbot on good ground, making a compelling case as the most credentialled runner in what is a modest Class 5 heat. Better Off Alone, just a pound behind, represents the most obvious threat and cannot be dismissed lightly, while Knightsbridge and Flashy Boy will need to find significant improvement to get involved at the business end. On balance, Premier Fantasy is taken to make that slim advantage count and come out on top.
KNIGHTSBRIDGE gets the vote here. The ground is proven and the booking of Jonjo O\’Neill Jr. is a positive. It is only a five-runner race and not one I would be going mad on, but at 2/1 he looks the most solid option.
VERDICT: KNIGHTSBRIDGE 2/1
