Black Bamboo heads a wide-open field of 23 on good-to-soft ground over two miles at Galway, rated a clear 12lb ahead of nearest rival Crowsatedappletart, and that superiority on form makes a compelling case for connections. The trip and conditions should suit a horse of this profile, and while Crowsatedappletart, Palace Boy and Jay Jay Zee all represent genuine threats in a competitive race, none can match Black Bamboo on the ratings evidence available. Black Bamboo is our selection.
