Taaklam holds a progressive profile that makes him an appealing proposition over the top-rated Real Jack, who sits just a couple of pounds ahead but may be closer to his ceiling, and the improving trajectory here counts for plenty in a competitive Class 6 field over seven furlongs at Catterick.
