Star Of State heads this competitive sixteen-runner sprint at the Curragh on good ground with a clear edge over the field, sitting ten points clear of Switching Sides and comfortably ahead of the remainder, which underlines just how strong a profile he brings to a six-furlong contest where class at this trip tends to tell. Switching Sides is the chief threat and will need to find improvement to bridge that gap, while Treasurer and Alpe d’Huez are respected as secondary dangers capable of running into a place. The verdict goes to Star Of State.
