Tuckmill heads this competitive 19-runner staying contest at Navan on good ground rated narrowly ahead of the field, and that edge looks meaningful over a trip of nearly two and a half miles where stamina and class tend to sort things out in the closing stages. The main dangers come from Tomas O Maille, who is six pounds below our selection on our figures but has the profile to give a bold showing in a race of this nature, while Hatfield Hammer and Glendaars Secret complete the quartet worth watching closely, though both face a stiffer task against the selection on these assessments. The wide field of 19 adds an element of uncertainty and Tuckmill will need a clear passage, but on balance of form and merit this is the one to be with, and Tuckmill is our selection.
