Faiyum heads this twelve-runner field at Gowran Park on good-to-soft ground over ten furlongs, sitting narrowly ahead of Sindria and with a more meaningful edge over the remainder, and there is enough in the form book to suggest he can take this Class 1 contest. Sindria represents the most credible threat and will need to be watched closely, while Caught U Sleeping and Saga Gaga are both capable of running into a place and could make life awkward if Faiyum fails to fire on the day. The trip and conditions look well suited to our selection, and with a confident ride he should have enough in hand to hold his rivals. Faiyum is the pick.
