Gold Queen Kindly heads this competitive sixteen-runner sprint at Pontefract narrowly ahead of Big Fun on private ratings, with Gentle George and Alpha Capture also closely matched just a pound or two behind, so the form book will need to be respected in a race where the margins are tight throughout the field. The selection has the edge on ratings and that slender advantage, combined with the good ground at Pontefract suiting a six-furlong contest of this class, gives her a marginal claim at the head of affairs, though Big Fun and the equally dangerous Gentle George and Alpha Capture are capable of overturning that narrow lead on the day. With low confidence acknowledged, this is a case of trusting the small edge Gold Queen Kindly holds, and she is the selection.
