The Last Line holds a commanding rating edge over this 16-strong field at Roscommon, standing 20 lb clear of Our Sonny and 21 lb ahead of Tale Of Intrigue, which represents a substantial gulf in class over two miles on good ground. Our Sonny and Tale Of Intrigue are the most credible dangers among the rated runners, with Touch The Clouds also worth keeping an eye on, while several unrated runners add an element of unpredictability to proceedings. The confidence here is tempered by the size of the field and those unknown quantities, but on rated form alone the selection has every right to take this. The Last Line is our selection.
