Dark Summit looks the one to beat in this 17-runner ten-furlong event at Navan, with our rating of 75 putting him 11 lb clear of Mr Perth and Miss Crinshawn on 64, a margin that is genuinely substantial in a field this competitive. That sort of gap gives him a cushion if the good to soft ground and a big field make for a scrappy contest. Mr Perth and Miss Crinshawn are the main dangers, with Ballaghkeen, a couple of pounds further back on 62, also needing to be respected. None of them can match Dark Summit on our figures, though, so he is the selection.
