Chale Chalo is our selection at Kempton, and the case rests on a progressive profile that makes him more appealing than his raw figure suggests, with our rating of 81 just a pound behind the top-rated Kitaro Kich on 82. That is a very slim gap, and an improving type over this mile on the all-weather can bridge it with a bit more progress. Kitaro Kich is the obvious danger given his rating, while Dumuji on 79 and Mertoun on 78 are both within a few pounds and cannot be dismissed in a tight nine-runner Class 5. This looks an open contest, but Chale Chalo is the one to side with.
