Etalon is our selection and looks the one to beat, with our ratings putting him 6 lb clear of Viroflay and Cruz Control, a sizeable margin in a Class 2 contest over three miles on good to soft ground. That edge gives him a handy cushion if he runs to his level, though whether the stamina test at Ffos Las suits him is not something the ratings alone can tell us. Viroflay and Cruz Control are the principal dangers on level terms with each other, while Scarface is a further 3 lb back and cannot be ignored if the pace falls apart. Etalon is the confident choice.
