Palmezzano is the one to side with at Dundalk, as our ratings put him 6 lb clear of Battling Siki and well ahead of the rest in a 14-runner, 12-furlong event on the all-weather. That is a sizeable advantage in a contest that looks open beneath him, and he should take plenty of beating. Battling Siki is the chief danger, with Banana Three and Coolnagrattan also in the mix, but none of them can match his rating. Palmezzano is the selection.
