Goodwin Face is our selection at Plumpton, sharing the top rating of 116 with Cayman Dancer but preferred for a more progressive profile and a more solid book of form. Cayman Dancer is the chief danger on level terms, while Soul Limbo (112) and Thankyouandplease (111) sit only a few pounds behind and can make it a tight finish over the 16 furlongs on good ground. Birthday Angel looks a stage short of that group, and Uncle Remus and One Island have plenty to find, so this looks a four-way contest at most. Goodwin Face gets the nod on consistency, though this is a competitive heat and we are only lightly in favour.
