Langton Wold heads our ratings on 100, five pounds clear of Treaty Boy on 95, and that is the foundation of the case at Sedgefield over two miles on good ground. A gap of that size in a modest Class 5 field is worth respecting, even if the picture is far from decisive. Treaty Boy is the chief danger, with Natural Ability a further four pounds back on 91 and Prospect House on 88 also in the mix, so this is no formality. Langton Wold still looks the most likely to come out on top, and he is our selection.
