Bella Lucia heads our ratings at 74 and looks the right choice in this five-runner Class 5 over eight furlongs on the Newcastle all-weather. She is only narrowly ahead of Beauty For Love on 73, so that rival is the chief danger, but our pick holds a more meaningful advantage over Rubyroo on 69 and a still wider one over March Lilly on 64. Northern Viola, on 63, looks to have most to find, which leaves this a small, tidy field in which Bella Lucia should be hard to beat. Bella Lucia is the selection.
