Jedhi Knight ran a fine second run back after a wind operation, beaten only three and a quarter lengths off a 2lb higher mark than he carries today — a thorough stayer who handles this ground, and a first-time application of blinkers could sharpen things up further. Dandy's Angel has dropped substantially in the weights over time and goes well at Beverley, making her the key danger, while Lednikov showed better all-weather form than his recent turf return suggested and remains on a fair mark. Jedhi Knight is our selection.
Looking for a bit of value here and ARCH LEGEND catches the eye. He went close over course and distance 13 months ago off a mark of 54 before running into one that was simply better on the day. He hasn\'t shown much since, but after a year off and a recent pipe-opener, he returns off just 47. On old form he could be extremely well handicapped and at 10/1 with three places available, the each-way angle appeals.
