Newtown Rambler made all at a good pace over C&D last month but HYPOTENUS ran well in that race and might turn the tables today.
A trappy little race where every runner seems to have some sort of chance, but the verdict goes to Classic Maestro. There looks to be plenty of early pace on and that should set the race up nicely for a horse that enjoys softer ground and can be delivered late. Classic Maestro has some solid form under those conditions and still looks nicely handicapped. A key factor is that the trainer runs two horses in the race, with Classic Maestro likely to be the outsider of the pair. Captain Cool may have had one run too many recently and could struggle if conditions become testing, while Classic Maestro appeals as the stronger option.
