HEATHEN caught the eye over course and distance last time out on what was only his second start since joining Jennie Candlish from David O\’Meara. Having been off the track for 259 days, he shaped with plenty of promise and, aside from the winner, was arguably the most eye-catching horse in the race. He should strip much fitter for the outing, conditions hold no fears and at 7/1 he makes plenty of each-way appeal.
