Lady Caroline Lamb was held up by traffic on her debut, finishing third beaten three lengths in what reads as a solid piece of novice form, and is expected to progress for one of the country’s leading yards on this quicker surface. The well-bred filly should improve for the experience and is fancied to get off the mark here. Fern Clyde is a genuine threat having landed her maiden last time, though she now carries a penalty, while Little Lady Karen was green on debut and merits respect with more to offer. FERN CLYDE is probably the most experienced horse in the race and her performance last time out was impressive, particularly the way she knuckled down when challenged. She has to concede weight after already getting her head in front, but the step up to 7f looks likely to suit and if she hits the front, she\’ll be difficult to pass.
