A Little Something has taken her last two starts in convincing fashion and looks firmly on the upgrade; although carrying 11lb more, the grade and distance remain suitable and she is hard to pass in her current vein. Catchim, runner-up last time and on a fair mark, poses the main threat, while Gore Point merits respect as an each-way contender. A Little Something to complete the hat-trick.
A Little Something arrives here in excellent form and winning horses always deserve plenty of respect, especially when they look to be improving rather than simply holding their level. She generally jumps well, stays strongly and those qualities are always valuable around Stratford. The handicapper has now raised her to a mark of 100, so life becomes tougher, but this isn\’t the deepest contest and there could still be more improvement to come.
