Ebt’s Guard heads this competitive 22-runner Class 2 mile on ratings, level at the top with Cerulean Bay and a fraction ahead of Scoville and Blue Brother, so the margins are tight and any one of those three rivals could turn the race on its head on the day. The draw and pace dynamics over Goodwood’s undulating mile will matter in a field this large, and Cerulean Bay in particular demands respect as a co-equal on our figures.
