Nibras Gold merits consideration despite sitting a few pounds below the top two on ratings, with a progressive profile and a fitness edge pointing to untapped potential over this 12-furlong trip at Brighton. Maasai Mara and Brave Hunter head the opposition on form figures and cannot be dismissed lightly, while Tai Hang Pegasus also warrants a watching brief. That said, if Nibras Gold has trained on well and is sharper in condition than the higher-rated pair, there is a plausible route to the winner’s enclosure. **Nibras Gold** is the selection, though this is a race where the margin for error is slim.
At short odds, I’m not convinced Sarangpur has much more improvement to come.
