I quite like JEWEL MAKER at the price here. He is now running off a mark 14lb lower than the 66 he won from back in October last year, he has already won at Carlisle and he was staying on again at the finish last time.
There only looks to be one proper front-runner in the race as well, so if they do not go mad early it could turn into the sort of race where track position counts for plenty. The obvious negative is the Easterby yard is out of form, but at 12/1 I am happy enough taking that chance.
