Ephesus heads this competitive 15-runner staying contest at Listowel on good-to-soft ground with a clear edge over the field, rated five pounds clear of Churchwarden and nine ahead of Metamorpheus, and over two miles he has the profile to relish this test. Churchwarden is the most obvious threat on ratings, while Metamorpheus and Beckistine will also need to be respected if conditions play to their strengths.
