Blood Destiny gets the nod in a small but classy Gowran Park field, sharing the top rating of 156 with Senecia and standing a good 10 lb clear of Fleur In The Park on 146, with Emily Love a long way back on 119. Over 20 furlongs on soft ground the stamina test should suit a runner of his calibre, and he merits respect as one of two on level terms at the head of the ratings. Senecia is the obvious danger on identical figures, while Fleur In The Park would need to improve to bridge the gap, and Emily Love looks to have plenty to find. This is a tight call, but Blood Destiny is our selection.
