Knighton is our selection at Huntingdon, and he is preferred over Dunstall Star on his progressive profile, even though he sits just 2 lb behind that rival on our figures. A horse still on the upgrade can often outrun a number that merely reflects what he has already done, and Knighton looks the type to find a little more on good ground over 16f. Dunstall Star is the obvious danger as the narrowly higher-rated runner, while Tazman Dan and Calibos, both rated in the high 90s, are the others who could take advantage if Knighton fails to progress again. This looks a tight contest and confidence is low, but Knighton gets the vote.
