Midsummer Storm has been given a lenient-looking opening mark for a lightly raced filly with a good pedigree for connections who know how to place their horses, and she should come on for the experience of her latest run when just tiring over a longer trip. Roaring Ralph has won five of his last six and runs off the same mark here — the danger is obvious though the uphill nature of this finish may not suit ideally.
