RACING POST VERDICT

Doyouknowwhatimean is our selection here, clear on top of these figures at 118 and a notable step up on the rest of this six-runner field. Getaway Vic and Ridin Solo, both rated 106, represent the biggest dangers, with Always Busy, on 105, also in the mix. The gap in the figures makes Doyouknowwhatimean the confident choice, with the remainder needing to find significant improvement to trouble him.

Our Expert Tip

Sometimes in jump racing you just get the feeling a horse is going to improve dramatically once switched to fences, especially one that started its career in the pointing field.

That’s exactly how I feel about Getaway Vic. I’m not convinced by Always Busy, while Edgewell is the obvious danger after winning well last time, although he’s not one I’d completely trust.

I think Getaway Vic has the makings of a very well-handicapped chaser and this could be the day the expected improvement arrives.
